The official NASCAR Mexico calendar for the 2026 season was released, confirming a total of 12 races across the country and highlighting, once again, the importance of Aguascalientes within the series, as it will host two races during the year.
The Aguascalientes Oval thus solidifies its position as a regular venue for the championship, welcoming the best drivers in Mexican stock car racing at two key moments of the season.
The action will kick off on March 15 at the Super Oval Potosino, returning to the same track that opened the 2025 season.
This first race will mark the start of a championship that promises competitiveness and a variety of venues, maintaining the tradition of starting on an oval track and with a circuit known for its demanding nature for drivers and teams.
The second race is tentatively scheduled for March 29, although it is still pending confirmation, while the third race, planned for April 26, also has no confirmed venue.
However, it has been mentioned that this race could be held at a venue entirely new to the championship, which would add a special appeal to the start of the season.
Later, on May 17, NASCAR Mexico will arrive at the Miguel E. Abed Racetrack in Amozoc, Puebla, where the race will be run on a road course, unlike the first three races scheduled on oval tracks.
On June 7, the race will take place at the Aguascalientes Oval, the first of the series’ two visits to Aguascalientes in 2026.
This race will be held just days before the start of the FIFA World Cup, an event that also influenced the schedule, as only one race was scheduled during the tournament: on June 27, with the venue still to be determined between Chihuahua and San Luis Potosí.
After the World Cup break, the season will resume on July 26 in Querétaro, before returning to the Super Oval Potosino on August 16.
The final stretch of the championship will begin on September 7 in Monterrey, and later, on September 27, NASCAR Mexico will return to Aguascalientes to contest the second race of the year at that oval track, reaffirming its importance within the calendar.
