The 2026 National Potosina Fair (FENAPO) is officially underway, running from August 7 through August 30 in San Luis Potosí. As one of the most anticipated cultural and entertainment events in the region, this year’s fair features an expansive schedule of activities and a highly publicized lineup of free concerts at the “Teatro del Pueblo.”

The fairgrounds open daily at 12:00 p.m., offering a variety of attractions including pavilions, an ice-skating show, and amusement park rides. While the fair offers many daytime activities, the Teatro del Pueblo serves as the nightly centerpiece, with headlining musical acts scheduled to take the stage around 9:00 p.m.

The 2026 program boasts an eclectic mix of international and national stars:

Opening/Closing: The festivities kick off on August 7 with Gloria Trevi and conclude on August 30 with a performance by the legendary Los Tigres del Norte.

International & Pop Stars: The lineup includes Mötley Crüe (August 8), Bizarrap (August 18), and a special appearance by international pop star Katy Perry on August 25.

Regional & Mexican Talent: Music enthusiasts can enjoy performances by Lila Downs, Sin Bandera, Santa Fe Klan, and several prominent regional Mexican groups, including Los Huracanes del Norte, Los Acosta, and Alameños de la Sierra.

In addition to the free Teatro del Pueblo shows, the FENAPO Palenque will host premium ticketed events. Tickets for these performances can be purchased via the “SLP Fast Ticket” platform or at the fairground box offices, which operate from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

With a massive influx of visitors expected throughout the month, authorities have coordinated logistics to manage the high attendance. Whether attending for the live music, the diverse food pavilions, or the nightly entertainment, FENAPO 2026 continues its tradition as a landmark cultural celebration for central Mexico.
