The nation’s capital will host the sixth stop on the World Golf Tour, following events in Rid, Saudi Arabia; Adelaide, Australia; Hong Kong, China; Singapore; and South Africa.
This edition features a rule change, with a 72-hole course instead of the traditional 54 holes played in its first two seasons.
Among the notable names participating are Spain’s Jon Rahm, ranked No. 10 in the world, and American Phil Mickelson, considered one of the greatest golfers of all time and a six-time major champion.

The tour began in 2023 and has visited Mexico three times: twice in the Riviera Maya at Mayakoba in 2023 and 2024, where American Charles Howell III and Joaquin Niemann won, respectively; plus another victory for the South American in 2025 when the tournament came to Mexico City for the first time.
Among the local highlights, this year’s entertainment lineup includes a performance by the musical group Los Ángeles Azules.
